La tour Du Guesclin

La tour d'une hauteur de 30 mètres et de ciconférence de 16 métres. faisait partie d'un ensemble de fortifications pour protéger le duché de Bretagne.
En 1350 une lutte de succession opppose Charles de Blois soutenu par les français et Jean de Monfort soutenu par les anglais, suite à la mort du duc Jean III.

Du Guesclin qui était dans le camp français repris la tour en se déguisant en bucherons, les armes étaient cachées dans des fagots

C'est avec regret que je vous quitte le temps de voir si le soleil brille toujours la haut sur la montagne. Mais pas de crainte mon blog reste ouvert pour la découverte d'un petit village la semaine prochaine ; le jeune " Scarabée" joue les remplaçants (un grand merci à lui).
