Les anglais achètent beaucoup les vieilles maisons dans nos campagnes. Mais celle ci ne plait pas !! Pourquoi ?? English buys much the old houses in our countryside. But that house don’t like them!! Why??
A very good question. Perhaps those English interested in living in your area want the "instant" version of Chateaubriant rather than investing in its history
This is a wonderful photograph and at first I was going to say, a timeless one. But, the roof will soon give way altogether - and that will be the end of that.
Well, call me silly but that old house looks like it would be quite charming if it were restored. It might be very expensive to repair it though. Maybe that is why no one has bought it as yet. It is a pity that the owners have allowed it to become so dilapidated.

On pourrait surement en faire quelque chose de bien. Les murs ont l'air de tenir.

It really does look like a sad face on that façade!
Fenix noticed the "sad face" and so did I.

Very picturesque. Don't the English want a "fixer upper"?
Ha ha, I can't understand either. ;)
